Hey, kids!
Just a reminder that in trying economic times, it's even more important to pay attention to where your dollars go after you spend them.
Shopping at independent, local business keeps your money in your own community instead of putting into it big corporate pockets and sending it out of your community, city, and state - if not out of the country.
While it is tempting to shop online for deals, remember that those deals come at a big cost - it takes far far fewer employees to run an online store than it does to run a real face-to-face store - the discounts come because they aren't creating jobs and send more of their dollar to straight profit due to lower overhead and fewer employees. So if you must shop online, try and shop a smaller, independent site than some big gargantuan like Amazon.
We are in a scary cycle right now and it's easy to get caught up thinking it's better to save a few bucks online or at a big store, but that really makes the cycle worse, taking money out of the pockets of real people in your immediate community and contributing to loss of economic stability on a very basic, local level.
Keep your money in your own community and shop independent for your holidays!!!!
We have TONS of gift-worthy items! T-shirts, hats, scarves, bags, purses, wallets, belts, jewelry, gift certificates, and more! It's not all jeans!
